Fabrication
Fabrication produces custom metal components that complete the weatherproofing at roof edges, penetrations, and transitions. Typical items include flashings, counter-flashings, coping, drip edges, closures, gutters, and equipment-curb details.
- Measure the site and confirm roof profile, opening size, wall interfaces, overlaps, and drainage direction.
- Choose suitable metal type, thickness, coating, and compatible fixings for the environment.
- Cut, fold, and form parts to approved dimensions; remove sharp burrs and protect finished surfaces.
- Dry-fit and install with correct laps, fasteners, sealants, and movement allowances.
- Inspect continuity, alignment, and water-shedding direction.
Supplied photo: The roof-opening image illustrates a penetration detail where custom flashing and careful sealing are important. It is included here as a site-detail example rather than a fabrication-shop photograph.
Quality focus: Accurate dimensions, material compatibility, neat folds, and secure weatherproof terminations reduce rework and leak risk.
